Sports can give so much, yet demand so much in return. Why Working with Athletes Matters to Me?
Because I wish I had this kind of support when I was a young athlete myself.
For more than 10 years, athletics was a core part of my life. At the same time, I trained regularly with a dance group. I may not have become a professional athlete or dancer, but I know what it means to train hard—spending afternoons in the gym or stadium 6-7 times a week. I know the daily grind, and I loved it. I know the thrill of winning with a team. And I also know the pain of failure, even when you give everything you’ve got in training.


I know what it’s like to feel impatient and frustrated, waiting for an injury to heal so you can get back to training. And I know how tough it is to make a comeback. When I was 15, I had my first knee surgery. Six months later, after another injury, I needed a second operation. The injuries eventually healed—but the pain never fully went away. For over 10 years, knee pain was my constant companion, even after I left competitive sports as a young adult. Looking back at old photos, I can still see myself wearing that knee brace every day—not just for support, but because I was afraid. I didn’t know back then what I know now:

At the time, no one could explain why my pain persisted. I wish someone had told me then what I know now—because it would have changed everything.
This personal experience drives my passion to help athletes train, perform, and recover in a way that supports both their physical and mental well-being—so they can keep doing what they love, pain-free.
